The Onion Is Launching a BuzzFeed Parody

While it recently went online-only, apparently The Onion feels it needs to do more to adequately skewer internet culture. At a presentation for advertisers on Tuesday, the satirical news site revealed that it plans to launch clickhole.com, a parody of sites like BuzzFeed and Upworthy. According to the New York Business Journal, the preview included the quiz “Which pizza should I have for dinner tonight? (presented by Pizza Hut),” the list “Seven pricks that defied the odds and didn’t go into finance,” and a wordless slideshow titled “Six kinds of hay.” Clickhole.com currently features “A Step-by-Step Guide to Clicking.” The site launches in June, so prepare to start wondering if every other headline you see is a Clickhole post or an unintentionally idiotic list.
