Rob Ford is reportedly behaving himself in rehab, yet somehow he still managed to get entangled in a new controversy. On Tuesday afternoon, 36-year-old LeeAnne McRobb was arrested in Ontario’s Muskoka region for drunk driving the Toronto mayor’s black Cadillac Escalade. She was charged with impaired driving and driving over the legal limit, and the SUV has been impounded for seven days, according to the Toronto Sun. McRobb suggested on Wednesday that she was in rehab with Ford, but the nature of their relationship is unclear.

As you’d expect from a Rob Ford-related story, two awkward video clips have surfaced online. While trying to collect her belongings at an impound lot on Wednesday, McRobb was pestered by reporters from the local news station Moose FM. She repeatedly asked the reporters to leave her alone, but answered some questions, making conflicting comments about Ford. At one point she says she left her watch in Ford’s room, then adds, “just kidding.” She says he’s doing “top notch” in rehab, and she used to be in the same facility “but I’m out of there.” When asked how she ended up in his car, McRobb said, “It doesn’t matter. That’s for me to know.”

The mayor’s brother, Councillor Doug Ford, said he doesn’t know why the Escalade was in the area. “Obviously someone has his car,” he told the Globe and Mail. “I have never heard of this person. I don’t have a clue who they are … I don’t know what is going on.”
