A water main burst near Houston and Ludlow this morning, flooding the basement of Katz’s Deli and putting some of the city’s most delicious meat at risk, DNAinfo and some intrepid citizen journalists report. But it’s going to be okay.
“We’ll be back,” an employee promised. “Nobody can resist what we have. People will swim through water to get our corned beef and pastrami.” Bet on it.
