Initially, the NYPD just wanted V. Stiviano to go away, but apparently they now believe her claim that she was assaulted by two men on Sunday night. Dominick Diorio, a 40-year-old Long Island man, has been charged with assault as a hate crime and aggravated harassment for allegedly punching Stiviano in the face and shouting racial slurs outside the Gansevoort Hotel. “As Ms. Stiviano was getting inside a cab, one of the assailants punched her in the face, calling her a ‘f—— n—– bitch,’” said Mac Nehoray, Stiviano’s attorney. “Ms. Stiviano was punched again by the same person while he was yelling ‘I am going to slaughter you.’ ” A passerby pummeled Diorio and police found him drunk and bleeding on the sidewalk, according to the Post. Later Stiviano, who was not seriously injured, picked him out of a lineup. Diorio’s father told the paper, “Wow, I’m not going to tell my wife about this. That’ll just upset her. I don’t know what to do.” The media hasn’t really picked up on this Donald Sterling story, so she’ll probably never find out.
