Medical Marijuana Bill Passes in New York

As promised, the New York State Senate voted 49 to 10 on Friday, the last day of the legislative session, to allow doctors to prescribe locally grown (non-smokable) marijuana to those who suffer from cancer, epilepsy, AIDS, Parkinson’s, and a few other serious conditions.
