Potential jurors there are “most prejudiced,” said lawyers for the accused Marathon bomber, who would prefer his trial be held in Washington, D.C., citing the “tremendous local impact and galvanizing community reaction” in Boston. “The community impact here is even greater than that present” in the case of Oklahoma City bomber Timothy McVeigh, who was granted a venue change, they argued in a motion filed last night. Wherever he ends up, Tsarnaev will likely face the death penalty beginning in November.
