Woman Beats Up ‘Pervert’ Teen for Using a Drone at the Beach (and It’s All on Video)

A picture taken on March 23, 2014 in Gaza City shows a flying drone camera that is used by Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas during a public rally marking 10 years since an Israeli air strike killed Hamas spiritual leader Sheikh Ahmed Yassin . Speaking to tens of thousands of supporters, Gaza's Hamas premier Ismail Haniya warned Israel it would pay dearly if it heeded its foreign minister's call to reoccupy the enclave to try to halt rocket attacks. A 17-year-old Connecticut teenager, Austin Haughwout, thought it would be a cool idea to get some aerial images of the beach with his remote-control drone. One beachgoer, Andrea Mears, thought this was the opposite of a good idea. CBS reports that the 24-year-old Mears is charged with third-degree assault and disturbing the peace after she called the cops and confronted the teen about the drone, demanding he stop taking pictures with his “helicopter” and calling him a “pervert.” This all escalated into a very uncomfortable physical fight, which was captured by Haughwout’s cell-phone video.
