World Trade Center Trying a New Security Boss After Parachuting Incident

Following the embarrassment of the BASE jumpers (and the teenager and the other guys) easily circumventing guards at the iconic landmark, the real estate firm in charge has tapped New Jersey State Police supervisor Kevin Fowler for the task of keeping the building secure. “If we are going to be successful we need to work as a team and cannot work in independent silos,” Fowler, who was the “principal security planner” for February’s Super Bowl, told DNAinfo, in reference to collaborating with the Port Authority and NYPD. “We need to be reading from the same sheet music.” Ambitious BASE jumpers, beware.
