It’s all there in the headline, really: The Associated Press reports that a 32-year-old Pittsburg woman named Ria Buford hopped in the driver’s seat at around 2:15 on Saturday morning, having just left a Wiz Khalifa concert after-party where, apparently, she was overserved. She then informed the two plainclothes officers that she intended to drive to where her own car was parked. Unsurprisingly, she wasn’t allowed to get very far, and ended up charged with stealing the vehicle, disorderly conduct, and public drunkenness. (A man who tried to intervene in her arrest was also arrested.) Fortunately, others can avoid this particular kind of bad luck by simply not trying to operate any car while wasted.
