Company Profiting Off of the Sharing Economy Really Bad at Sharing

The Verge reports that Uber has developed a complicated playbook for sabotaging its ride-sharing competitor, Lyft. The operation, called SLOG, involves requesting Lyft rides, then having Uber employees attempt to convert the drivers over to working for Uber. So much for the sharing economy.
