Politico is partnering with a German media conglomerate to “cover not just Brussels but European politics and policy more broadly,” CEO Jim VandeHei wrote in an internal memo Tuesday. The D.C.-centric publication previously expanded to the New York market when it purchased and revamped the news site Capital New York and declared that venture an “early success” in March.
