There’s a Pretty Good Chance It Will Snow in NYC Tonight

It’s not even officially winter yet — the autumn leaves pallid and languishing on the branches of hunchbacked trees — and yet the snow is already on its way to trigger your Seasonal Affective Disorder. This is gonna be one long-ass winter.

Gothamist reports that the temperatures will dip considerably tonight, and that, coupled with a 90 percent chance of rain, could net the city a healthy coating of icy rain and flurries. The NYC Sanitation Department has already issued a “Snow Alert.”

Time to cancel your plans on account of “something bad I must’ve eaten at lunch.”
