But then I saw it: a gun, heavy and real and pointed right at us.” Consider that a preview of some of the stories that will emerge from a Brooklyn writers’ group that was held up by an armed robber Thursday night in a café in Ditmas Park. DNAinfo reports the group had just finished tearing apart someone’s manuscript was wrapping up for the night when the masked man held up a gun and demanded computers. He fled with three laptops and an iPad, at least one of which probably contained a half-completed novel that was not backed up anywhere else.
