A drunk guy with poor judgment but impeccable timing was walking on the icy surface of a lake in Central Park on Saturday when he crashed through the ice. Luckily for him, firefighters nearby were already practicing ice and water rescue drills, so they were able to come to his aid within two or three minutes. The drunk man was sedated and taken to Lenox Hill, where cops presumably warned him, “You’re on thin ice, buddy.”
