This summer, Katharine Viner will take over for Alan Rusbridger as the editor-in-chief of The Guardian, making her the first woman to run the paper in its 194-year history. Viner currently serves as The Guardian’s U.S. editor and helped build the paper’s Australian presence. Rusbridger will take on the role of chairman in 2016.
