At least 120 people were killed and more than a hundred people injured after three suicide bombers attacked Shiite mosques during Friday prayers in the capital of Yemen. Children are among the killed, according to witnesses, as are local political and religious leaders. Nearby hospitals are begging for blood donations to help the wounded. In January, a car bomb killed more than 30 people in the capital. One person on the scene told the Associated Press that “blood is running like a river … The heads, legs and arms of the dead people were scattered on the floor of the mosque.”
