A C-SPAN viewer decided to call in to a segment about Iran negotiations on Tuesday and recite the opener from everybody’s favorite ’90s show, The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air. Unfortunately, the caller was not the sassy mother of the Woodhouse brothers.
“Jack Strickland” said he was from Bel-Air, California, and claimed he was recently discussing Iran negotiations with friends on a basketball court in Philadelphia. “When a couple of guys who were up to no good essentially started causing trouble in my neighborhood,” he explained. “I got in one little fight and my mom got scared and said, ‘You’re moving with your auntie and uncle in Bel-Air.’”
Sadly, the C-SPAN host eventually caught on and hung up. Now we’ll never know what kind of license plate the cab had!
