The newest way to die is breathing, at least if a new study picked up by the New York Post is to be believed. Researchers at NYU studied air pollution’s effect on 300 New Yorkers, and discovered that those who lived in Zip codes with the most pollution ran a 24 percent greater risk of “artery constriction.” So, let me get this straight: The city is an arctic tundra for a third of the year, and also the air will kill you. Why do we live here again?
