Robert Durst, the eccentric real-estate heir whom authorities are investigating for several murders, was arrested in New Orleans on Saturday and charged with the 2000 death of his longtime friend, Susan Berman. The stash of sketchy objects found at his hotel room will certainly not do Durst’s defense lawyer any favors: According to The Hollywood Reporter, police found a latex mask, a fake ID, a revolver, an ID card for someone named “Everett Ward,” $42,000 in cash, and close to 150 grams of marijuana. What, isn’t that the kind of stuff everybody keeps in their hotel rooms?
