There’s a new book out this month about Steve Jobs, the Apple CEO and tech deity who died from pancreatic cancer in 2011. One of the newsier revelations in Becoming Steve Jobs is the fact that current Apple CEO Tim Cook offered to give his boss part of his liver. Jobs was very ill, unable to come to the office, and waiting for a liver transplant, but when Cook offered, Jobs cut him off, “almost before the words were out of my mouth,” Cook said. “‘No,’ he said. ‘I’ll never let you do that. I’ll never do that.’” Cook added, “Steve only yelled at me four or five times during the 13 years I knew him, and this was one of them.”
