The internet can be a beautiful place brimming with kindness, but it can also be a hellpit of conspiracy theorists and Benghazi acrostics. Perhaps nobody knows this better than U.S. Ambassador to Libya Deborah Jones, who took on the role in 2013 when the former ambassador was killed in an attack on the U.S. embassy in Libya. Since her confirmation, Jones has attempted to use Twitter to “encourage a transparent dialogue with all Libyans.” That did not go as planned, and Jones has officially given in to the trolls and quit Twitter. Congrats, everyone, you did it!
