Two Women Arrested in New York City Over Alleged ISIS-Influenced Bomb Plot

Federal authorities arrested two women today who were allegedly planning to bomb New York City. The arrest followed a long undercover FBI operation, ABC News reports, and the women —  who are scheduled to appear in federal court today and were allegedly influenced by ISIS — had not managed to build an explosive yet, but possessed several propane tanks and discussed possible targets online. The FBI arrested three men in Brooklyn with alleged ISIS ties in February. In the past year and a half, more than two dozen people have been arrested in the United States for alleged ISIS ties.
