New York and surrounding areas are currently under a severe thunderstorm watch, which could bring nearly 60 mile per hour wind gusts and quarter-size hailstones, according to DNAinfo. After the hot, dry May we’ve had, the city could use some rain. It’d be nice if it happened overnight and not during prime commuting hours, though.
