The New York Times Magazine talked to Snoop Dogg this week, and ended the interview by asking the rapper about his 2013 trip to the White House — a momentous occasion that becomes all the more extraordinary every time a new detail is revealed. In 2014, Snoop Dogg made the unproven claim that he smoked weed in one of the executive mansion’s bathrooms. (“Look, when I do the No. 2, I usually, you know, have a cigarette or I light something to get the aroma right.”) This week, he wondered why it “took so [expletive] long” for the White House to invite him in the first place. He has a theory, though, about why he was finally told to come over. “I think his wife was like, ‘It’s time to get the Doggfather in here.’”
