Welcome to the first official hottest day of the year. At only 86 degrees, today will certainly be robbed of its title by some hellish date in July, but for now, five months into 2015, we’ll enjoy the record. Some New Yorkers are celebrating by taking their shirts off, and others are complaining about how they’ve already been forced to turn their air conditioners on. Hey, at least you have air-conditioning!
