Less than a week after senior Cuomo administration official Andrew Cuomo revealed that he might like to complain about New York Mayor Bill de Blasio anonymously to reporters, senior de Blasio administration official Bill de Blasio offered all his complaints about the governor on-camera“What I found,” de Blasio told NY1, “was he engaged in his own sense of strategies, his own political machinations and what we’ve often seen is if someone disagrees with him openly, some kind of revenge or vendetta follows.” The mayor also cited a “lack of leadership” and said the governor worked to “inhibit the agenda that new York city put forward.” De Blasio later told reporters at a press conference, “I’m not going to be surprised if these statements lead to some attempts at revenge.” He said revenge at least two more times, but it did not cause Cuomo to magically appear and make the chances that a minimum-wage increase might happen disappear.
