Speaking on Meet the Press today, struggling GOP presidential candidate Scott Walker suggested that building a wall along America’s border with Canada was on the table when considering the risk of terrorists infiltrating the country via our northern neighbor. The stance is one he apparently bases on recent conversations he has had with voters in New Hampshire. “They raised some very legitimate concerns, including some law enforcement folks that brought that up to me at one of our town-hall meetings about a week and a half ago. So that is a legitimate issue for us to look at,” he said. While the border with Mexico is nearly 2,000 miles long, America’s border with Canada is more than 5,500 miles long, including part of Wisconsin, where Walker is governor.
