On Monday night, Lamar Odom was released from the hospital in Las Vegas where he had been treated since last week, after being found unresponsive in a brothel in rural Nevada. He was transferred to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, where the 35-year-old will continue his recovery and months of physical therapy. The six-ten basketball player was so tall that he had to be transferred to Las Vegas in an ambulance last week; according to ESPN, medical personnel made sure to procure a large-enough helicopter to transfer Odom to Los Angeles. He has been breathing on his own and talking with friends and family since Friday, and might try to walk soon, according to reports.
