DNAinfo reports that one of the big NYC nightmares came true at 3:45 a.m. on Wednesday, when a stranger pushed a man onto the tracks of Manhattan’s East Broadway subway station. Unlike the victims of several similar incidents, the unnamed 58-year-old managed to climb back onto the platform, though he had to be treated for injuries to his leg and back. Meanwhile, the attacker — described only as a guy wearing “a black leather jacket and a black hat” — fled via a Brooklyn-bound F train. Whether the police have arrested anyone in connection with the attack is unclear. Either way, treat yourself to a false sense of security and stand behind that yellow line.
