Athletes arrived in Rio for the 2016 Olympics on July 24, and conditions in the Olympic Village are reportedly pretty grim. So grim, in fact, that many of them refused to move into their rooms. Exposed wiring, leaky pipes, blocked toilets, shoddy plumbing, and dirty floors are among the complaints, and nations like the Netherlands, the U.S., and Italy even hired their own crews to deal with the accommodations.
