Do you want a cheaper iPad? Well, you might soon be able to buy one. According to a new report from Bloomberg, Apple is expected to unveil a less costly version of its tablet. Right now, the cheapest one you can buy, the iPad 4, costs $400.

From Bloomberg:

In Chicago, the world’s most-valuable technology company plans to show off a new version of its cheapest iPad that should appeal to the education market, said people familiar with the matter. The company will also showcase new software for the classroom, said the people, who asked not to be identified discussing private plans.

The new device will reportedly retail for around $250, the Verge reports. For comparison, you can get a Kindle Fire HD7 — a perfectly good and usable device that does everything you could want from a tablet — for $50. Just think about what you could do with that extra $200.
