Profile

The Thai installation and performance artist takes another look at material consumption with his large-scale installation Golden Ghost (The Future Belongs to Ghosts) (2011).

Gold rush
Kusolwong’s interactive installation comprises several gold necklaces hidden in a field of colorful industrial thread waste. Museumgoers can play in and pick through the piles, and if they happen to track down a piece of jewelry, they’re welcome to keep it—for free.
