When this 53-foot-long mobile archive drops by Shea Stadium for its only New York appearance, fans get a chance to see uniforms and memorabilia from the Negro Leagues Baseball Museum in Kansas City. The traveling exhibition tailors its displays to each tour stop, so when it parks in Queens, teams like the New York Cubans, the Newark Eagles, and the New York Black Yankees get prime placement. This year, the show also pays tribute to the late Buck O'Neil, the former player and manager who became a leading proponent of preserving the legacy of the Negro Leagues.
