Times Square extends from 41st St. to 53rd St., and Sixth Ave. to Eighth Ave.
The Naked Cowboy is, more or less, exactly what he sounds like: a big, burly dude, covered in nothing more than a ten gallon hat, cowboy boots, and his skivvies. Government name Robert John Burck, the stalwart gimmick has been serenading the Times Square tourist market with his star-spangled guitar for nearly a decade now, parlaying his shtick into small appearances in music videos (Cake’s “Short Skirt, Long Jacket”) and movies (New York Minute).
