The Vivian Beaumont and the Mitzi E. Newhouse Theaters constitute Lincoln Center Theater. Established in 1985, Lincoln Center Theater is one of the country's premier not-for-profit theaters, staging a year-round schedule of productions. Both theater houses are constructed in the round, with the 1,080-seat Vivian Beaumont designated a Broadway theater and the 299-seat Mitzi E. Newhouse considered an off-Broadway venue. Recent celebrated productions include the 2004 Tony Award winning revival of Henry IV with Kevin Kline and Ethan Hawke.
