200 doesn’t have the mixology credentials of its big-name neighbors, but the menu features a few specialty cocktails, and it’s a better-mannered bar than some classic neighborhood dives (with far cleaner bathrooms). Two huge projection screens also make it a comfortable home for sports fans. Throughout the cavernous space, broad wood-plank walls and rusted brass plates give off a sort-of SoHo gallery version of a barn vibe, albeit a barn fully equipped with surround sound and a variety of IPA’s on tap. The dramatically low-lit space can comfortably host both hyperactive dance parties and private date nights.
