With a Jagermeister dispenser on the bar, a barbeque on the back patio, and plenty of folksy Irish paraphernalia hanging from the ceiling, this pub would seem to be a safe haven for social populism on the Upper East Side. A pool table, a dartboard, and a jukebox are strewn about like toys in a messy playroom. Come Saturday night, the lone girl singing a gloomy, plaintive top 40 ballad sets the tone despite the hard work of a cheering bartender. This is what happens when a free spirit like Danny joins forces with a discouraged everyman like Eddie for what looks like a simple formula for success: "Hey, we're a couple of fun guys!
