Profile

What you smell isn’t the sweat of camisole-topped girls writhing on the earth-toned ottomans or the cologne-spritzed cluster of men reveling in blasts of Nitrogen snow or even the soothing sea-salt of nearby Shinnecock Bay. It's pheromones pumped from a scent machine. Because of that, the mating dance commences quickly in this twine-adorned, rectangular room where regulars, if they’re not checking themselves out in the mirrored walls, keep supportive grips on ceiling beams festooned with floral vines. While other East End venues vie for "it” crowd status via hip-hop/mash-up, Pink lures trust-fund babies with D.J.'s like Roger Sanchez, Oakie, and Tong and a sound system designed by Steve Dash. Older socialites can simulate their upcoming trip to Ibiza on the white beds in the climate-controlled cabanas dotting the 6,000-square foot backyard. If you aren’t a boldface name, get to know the door staff early in the summer and secure a coveted season parking pass to avoid the trek to the Jitney stop.
