The Greenpoint outlet of the popular Williamsburg hangout Alligator Lounge (as well as the similarly named Crocodile Lounge in the East Village), Lulu's offers many of the same amenities as its partners in crime: a comfortingly standard and relatively large space, a pool table, and, most, important, free pizza. At all hours, the drinks—a wide selection of beers on tap, including crisp Brooklyn lagers, and reasonably priced, standard cocktails—come with a doughy, delicious, homemade pizza, one nice-sized pie per customer. The bar also boasts hardwood floors upstairs that already look dusty and dated, brick walls painted white, and a small performance stage (all shows are free). — Mike Vilensky
