Profile

If you've been to either the room or the otheroom, you'll recognize the decor (slate-topped bar, concrete floor, heavy brushed-steel furniture) and drink offerings, displayed in obsessively tidy all-caps handwriting on a chalkboard above the bar: dozens of Eurobrews, seasonal varietals of domestic beer and wines by the glass. The crowd here, due to the Tribeca location, tends to be somewhat older and more corporate than at the owners' other two establishments, though the candlelit atmosphere seems more conducive to a tryst than happy hour on the expense account. Secure a nook by the front windows, or one of the high velvet benches along the wall.

With its dark lighting and candles, anotherroom is a great place to go any night. I recently went with friends and enjoyed the fact they had a wide variety of beers, it wasn't insanely crowded so you could actually hear your friends speak and just a great find overall. This place is very clean and the decorating is fantastic. You can go with friends, with a special someone, it's just a nice place to grab a beer and enjoy an evening.

Nice Find

A Friend and I Stopped in During The 2007 Tribeca Film Festival . Upon Entering We Were Impressed By Intimate Lighting With Tea Light Candles And The Concrete Floor Added To The Cavernous Atmosphere. A Great Selection of Beer, Saki And Wine That Was Written On A Chalkboard Behind The Bar, Gave This Place A Great Corner Bar Feel.. .. I Would Recommend This Bar To Anyone Looking For A Place To Hide Away From The Noise Of The Big City.
