Aubette is best enjoyed on a mild afternoon when you’ve snuck out of work early to enjoy the end of the day from a table next to the wall of glass doors that opens onto 27th Street. If you and your partners in crime would like something a bit more discreet, however, head to the back room, which is all couches and candlelight, even in the middle of the day. On weekends, Aubette draws crowds out of proportion to what it has to offer: A simple loft-like space, uncomfortable outdoor metal chairs, and bartenders whose friendly attitude perhaps compensates for the fact that they aren’t exactly master mixologists. — John Newton

In the middle of manhattan concret desert there is a place to quench your thirst. Beautiful people in a very sexy and slick atmosphere makes you feel comfortable and relaxed. Great matines and the kitchen serves rich appetizers that complements the drinks. Try the garlic shrimp and chocolate fondue. Sinfully good.
Call for reservations to see what is going on before hand. They have big parties during the week sometimes.
The friendly staff completes the set of this high ceiling and confortable leather chairs spacious lounge. Definately a must see.

Everything is long, sleak, and airy in this Gramercy hotspot. The back room is perfect for small parties and meetups while just about anywhere in the place is perfect for smooch sessions with your significant other. The crowd definitely changes once the afterwork crowd shuffles off and by 9PM, it's all hip-hopped out.
