Located just inside The Tuscany's front entrance, and separated from the main lobby by stylish glass partitions, is the gorgeously designed, glossy, and rather boring Audrey Lounge & Café. The lighting is dim; muted, multihued candy colors emerge softly from behind the space-age bookshelves protruding from the walls. The music, anonymous dance beats played at inside-voice levels, is more elevator staid than loungey cool. The action is minimal: On any given night there might be one or two small groups huddled among the dozen or so tables, and perhaps a solo hotel guest sipping a martini at the bar. The place shuts down officially at midnight, but by 9:30, the crowd is usually gone already.
Morning CaféFrom 6am to 1pm Audrey serves pastries, coffee, and continental breakfast.
Best of New York: Fun & Nightlife
Cocktails at the movies, a Monday-night bacchanal, and a great rookie-rap show.
