Profile

It's unbelievably satisfying to step out of the traffic, insanity and hustle of modern-day Manhattan into this cozy little Latin-themed getaway. Featuring special house drinks like the caipirinha, the mango margarita and the mojito, Baraza conjures a sensual atmosphere to mellow even the most frenetic of bar-hoppers. The dark wood and exposed-brick interior could be Anybar, but for the kitschy touches: Goya labels plastered on one section of a wall and a mildly disturbing assortment of Barbie doll parts. In the more dimly lit confines of the back lounge, there are some truly excellent make-out nooks to be found, too.

My friends I went to this bar and had the most fun we had had in a long time. We all look forward to going back.
