On weekdays, sleek young professionals (and commuters bound for nearby Grand Central) converge at this bustling happy-hour hub for reasonably priced cocktails and cross-continental tapas. A shoulder-to-shoulder crowd, which becomes especially thick on Thursdays, litters the big central bar with martinis and glasses of Chardonnay, while ordering plate after plate of irresistible appetizers like the mini slider burgers. If you're lucky, you might score a seat at a small round table near the floor-to-ceiling windows affording great views of Park Avenue and, in good weather, a nice breeze. On weekend nights, Bogart's opens its downstairs bar and dance floor as promoters turn the venue into a viable nightclub. The scene is tumultuous—and somewhat inescapable as you'll witness from the bathrooms where black-and-white surveillance tapes reveal the chaotic party awaiting your return.
