This spin-off of the (now closed) Chelsea lounge brings the mod vibe and seafood fare to a larger West Village space. The bar and two loungey rooms, decorated in monochrome blue and red, offer ample space to sneak off to a cozy corner of your own. The atmosphere is steeped in sixties chic, from the low-slung couches and sleek tubular lamps, right down to the kitschy glassware, but the view out the wide windows of the bar is timeless—a lovely prospect over the Hudson best admired while sipping a retro cocktail. — Kat Ward
