This Upper East Side bar bills itself as a “sports lounge,” but the yuppie after-work scene definitely leans toward the latter part of that phrase. Thirteen flat-screens adorn the walls, and waitresses in jerseys and tight “Bounce” tanks flitter about the dark space. High-table seating lines the front window and wall opposite the bar, and more high tables create an island in the middle; you’ll find a modest lounge with black leather booths in back of the long, rectangular room, where the chosen few have access to five other TVs. The menu consists of above-average bar fare—wings, burgers, dips, and chicken fingers—and a few surprises, like Thai curry beef satay skewers.
Best of New York: Fun & Nightlife
Cocktails at the movies, a Monday-night bacchanal, and a great rookie-rap show.
