This warehouse-sized lounge and game room is cavernous as only a bar in Queens can afford: It’s big enough to house a grid of sixteen billiards tables, two Ping-Pong tables, a foosball table, darts, and air hockey. From its second-story perch, you can take in Astoria’s burgeoning industrial-residential sprawl from a wall of tinted glass windows. Break Bar falters a bit with the swank ambitions of its back area—a neon-lit, polished black bar serves uninspired martinis (stick to the beers on tap), and any pool shark worth his cue chalk stays away from the purple velvet chairs next to Big Buck Hunter.
