The midtown offshoot of the downtown favorite, Brinkley’s Station opened in September in the 1890s bank building that previously housed Desmond's. The gastropub, by brothers Tom and Anthony Martignetti, features a large bar and dining room (the menu includes lots of shareable plates, burgers, and cheeses from Saxelby Cheesemongers), but head upstairs to the smaller mezzanine area, where you’ll find the fireplace. The drink menu includes ten house cocktails, as well as several New York State wines and locally brewed beers.
