“Bare-bones” would be the polite way to describe this 14th Street beer haven; “confused” might be another. Is it a sports bar? If so, where are the big screens? An after-work watering hole? Then why do most drinks start at $6? Lounge? Where’s the seating? Or even the place to put your drink? The décor mirrors this multiple-personality effect: Posters of César Chávez and inspirational messages ("Think It / Dream It / Do It") seem a bit misplaced in a venue filled with khakis and collared shirts. But hey, there are fourteen beers on tap (the usual suspects: Brooklyn Lager, Coors Light, Stella Artois). And every one of 'em is cheap.
