Even strangers to the game of beer pong can be lured into this cavernous sports bar, where the party spills onto a large, planked sidewalk deck in the spirit of a boardwalk shindig. The converted auto shop, coated in pine beams and 12 plasma and four projection screens, entertains its cleaned-up, grown-up girl and guy Spring Breakers—among them Steelers fans and New York Law School students, who get a Thursday happy hour deal—with game nights, specials on pitchers and drafts, and a barbecue menu served in the adjoining dining room. The tank-topped bartenders will do a fruit-soaked shot with the customers now and then, keeping the atmosphere lighthearted. Golden Tee 2005 and an oldie-contemporary jukebox divert but the main attraction, spectator sports aside, is a carefree, outdoor crowd gathered so close together that it's impossible not to bump into someone new.
ExtraBeer pong is Wednesday nights. The kitchen stays open until 11 p.m. daily; Sunday brunch is served on the deck. A rooftop deck hosts private parties.
